Four times a year Melenkurion organizes a symposion in the traditional sense of the word. Translators and anyone interested are given the opportunity to meet and exchange trade or other thoughts over light refreshments. Experienced translators can be coerced into providing fledgling colleagues with tricks of the trade. Costs for participation are limited to the refreshments consumed.

Dates are in principle in March, June, September and December on Wednesday in the week of the 15th.
The place is usually somewhere in Amsterdam, near the NS Central Railway Station.
All participants receive invitations beforehand.
Anyone interested can register up to one week in advance.
